Pooja Bhagat | Of Counsel
Pooja Bhagat pursued her undergraduate studies at George Washington University, specializing in Political Science and focusing on international relations. Her professional journey included roles at the State Department within the Bureau of Consular Affairs and service with the Peace Corps. Subsequently, Ms. Bhagat enrolled in law school at American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C., where she obtained her early practice certificate.
During her career, Ms. Bhagat gained experience by working with a criminal defense firm in Virginia, the Arlington County Commonwealth Attorney’s office, and the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office. Notably, she received training under Nimmo Bhagat, an immigration attorney with two decades of experience who later became a Federal Immigration Judge.
