Monday, December 22nd, 2008Effective for all accidents occurring after October 1, 2008, the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission has issued new forms which should be filed in various instances. The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission is in the process of computerizing its claims processing in order to bring in line with other states which allow the filing and access to claim documents online. The sooner you file your claim, the better. You can file your claim electronically by going to the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Web Site, or you can file by mail. It is not difficult to file a claim, but it is a neccessary step in claiming for Virginia Workers’ Compensation Benefits.
